Dr Cecil is absolutely amazing! If you have bunnies- you are in good hands with Dr Cecil. After a bad experience with another vet in Chula Vista, we lost our bunny during anesthesia- that is supposed to be rare. We took our 2 bunny girls here to get spayed and it was a success. The staff was amazing and always answered our questions- they genuinely care for the animals. Now they’re not cheap- but if you own an exotic animal you have to know what you’re getting into, and that includes higher cost pet care. The prices were not unreasonable and you are paying for years of experience, so well worth it. Thank you Dr Cecil!

We took our German Shepherd Kaya here when our primary veterinarian recommended them. They were empathetic, patient and so honest with us in a very emotional and unexpected situation. I would and have recommended this pet urgent care to everyone who may need a pet urgent care service. Thank you to the whole team who assisted our family in a very difficult decision that evening.

Brought my golden doodle in on a Tuesday afternoon with vomiting and diarrhea. Online appointment system was easy. I showed up at 3:45 for my 4 PM appointment and they saw us right away. Vet tech calm and highly professional. Did a quick anti emetic injection, sent us home with some meds. $329 for the whole process, which felt fair. Cassie is now healed. Loved that they didn’t overmedicate or tack on unnecessary costs. Highly recommend.

Our dog sustained a face bite by another dog, and Dr Morgan did a wonderful job cleaning the wound and closing it up so that it would not develop an absess. She was able to give our pup an easy antibiotic so our work at home was easy in the recovery. Also, the staff cared about our long wait and offered ways to ease our discomfort. Thank you to everyone there!

I recently brought my dog, Riley, to Pet Urgent Care in La Mesa on a Sunday and was very happy by the entire staff. They are professional, compassionate, and transparent—taking the time to explain all treatment options without any pressure. Dr. Rodriguez and her assistant kept me fully updated and comfortable throughout the surgery, and Alie at reception was amazing. I didn't know pet urgent care was an option, but I’m so glad I found them and will absolutely return if needed.

I took my dog in for a suspected ACL tear. They were very quick to get her in and assess, and delivered an estimate for services. I agreed to the services. Once they had the X-ray and bloodwork back, the doctor told me all of the results in a separate room. All staff were efficient and very kind to me. They sent to records over to the surgical facility so that I can get her the surgery she needs. I have now gone to this location twice and have felt I have gotten very good service. I recommend this place if you need an urgent care for your pet.

My sweet pup sustained serious wounds while receiving a routine teeth cleaning at her usual vet, where they also misdiagnosed her and her conditions were seemingly getting worse. We finally took her into this urgent care for a second opinion. They took their time to understand the situation and create a treatment plan for her. All considering, it was more affordable than I imagined.

Awesome place. Staff at the front was super helpful and kind. Dr. Palmer quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my dog and recommended a few courses of action. I opted for a procedure to treat the ear infection and they were quick and thorough and now my Monty's doing so much better! Definitely recommend this place!

My 12 yr old female pug, Belle, had blood in her pee which warranted an urgent care visit. We both did not sleep through the night (early morning) before as she struggled to pee and I called in that same morning. Natasha was incredibly professional and her customer service was outstanding from scheduling over the phone, during the visit, and through checkout. Dr. Clark attended to us and was very kind and thorough with the UTI diagnosis and medicine instructions. Belle and I thank you all! She is all better.
